Coach and Consultant
Craig provides executive coaching and assessment to build leadership and optimize performance. His consulting focuses on three primary practice areas:
- Executive Coaching: Engagements are designed to achieve optimal client performance, high-impact leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Human Capital Assessment: Executive assessment services to select, promote, develop, and retain the right people and ensure solid organizational bench strength.
- Team Solutions: Team assessment, coaching, and resolution sessions to resolve key performance or interpersonal issues and create more cohesive leadership teams.
For the last 12 years, Craig has advised senior managers through C-Suite executives at small, mid-size and Fortune 500 businesses (including Walgreen, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Accenture, Time Warner Cable, Sungard, CDI and Plante Moran). Craig brings expertise in understanding human behavior and personality, strategic thinking and leadership, motives/drivers and interpersonal effectiveness. He is quickly able to understand individuals and teams and takes a proactive coaching style with clients, whether challenging executives to greater levels of leadership, improving management capabilities, or on-boarding high-potentials.
Craig is a Registered Corporate Coach and Licensed Psychologist. He earned his B.A. from Boston College and a Doctorate in Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Craig is on the coaching faculty at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and is co-chair of the consulting division of the Illinois Psychological Association.
Craig began his career as a clinical and organizational psychologist, providing consultative services to individual professionals and evaluating prospective hires for companies. He also held faculty positions at Loyola University and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He sits on advisory board at the Partnership to Educate and Advance Kids, a not-for-profit that provides mentorship and financial support for inner-city adolescents in Chicago.
